Maps

In this section I tell the history of the world in 60 maps (I'm funny, I know). In order to truly understand world history, we must look at the world in which they lived. Throughout this page, I intend to only include maps which are vital to the fundamental understanding of world history. These maps all come from William R. Shepherd's Historical Atlas at the Perry-Castañeda UT Austin Library. However, Sheperd's Atlas does provide a nearly entirely western view of world history (Buyer Beware), so if you are looking for a more "modern" atlas, this is not the place. Note that some pages include multiple maps so they may be repeated for various sections.
