The Return of History in 60

This is a hasty message, but I want to get it out as quickly as possible. The title tells you all you need to know, but I want to say more.
I sincerely want to thank all of you. I did not expect anything close to the response I received regarding the project’s end. Because of the overwhelming number of kind comments and suggestions, I plan to resume work on History in 60. I will slowly begin restoring pages around April of next year.
However, I hope to give the project a somewhat different form. When I started it in 2022, the world was a vastly different place. At the time, this was the first—and, for a while, the only—“History in 60.” Now, when I search for “History in 60,” I find page after page of AI-generated content, along with a television show about disability rights in Canada.
I mention this as a prelude to my plan to refocus the project’s mission. I feel that I have strayed from its original intent: making history more accessible. Over the next year, I plan to make the website more interactive and engaging. I hope you will all stay tuned for this hopeful new chapter.
Scientia potentia est. Thank you, Spencer
